I recently started tech/college what ever you wanna call it, and me being in to webdesign/dev etc, i asked did they have a site, because i couldn’t find one online. So they said no, but we have been getting one developed. So me thinking its gonna be amazing and stuff for the price they paid (which i cant really say) but i waited, and sure enough got some (images) of the site. My very very first thought was (O.M.G). I was actually near sick. Not only because it was a bad design, but its the fact that it was an (image) and i didn’t know if it had been ported to html/css yet.

Instead of me posting a link to this site because its hidden on the developer’s (if thats what you call him, eughh) hosting. So i will post screenshots here of 4 of the main navigation pages and you tell me your honest thought. The reason im doing this, its because i really want to get involved with setting up this site. Actually know what? f**k it, here is the link. I haven’t been told i wasn’t allowed to put this out to the public, because the (eughh i just got chills saying this) “developer” has hidden it because he is still working on it, hes trying to set up a database so that the actual college staff can add posts and news etc.. if he was smart he would have just use WordPress or something :P.

None the less, please drop your honest feedback to this, if i can’t make a dent myself by saying this sucks ass and they should demand a refund, or like get a team working together for that ridiculous amount of money they paid then so be it. Nobody likes to get riped of, and i sure as f**k don’t like seeing something im involved with, go out the public lookin like that, when it can be done better. So please, honest feedback on what you think of this overall, all comments are welcome and don’t hold anything back please, even if you are not a designer/developer then please still leave your thoughts. Every little helps.

The change in design has been made at the ‘Channel” Page.

I personally like the new design, but I would definitely rather the old design, I mean, symplicity is everything these days right?

As I am writing this post there are “58691″ complaints from Youtubers protesting the new design which will be compulsory July 15th 2009. Some people are even pleading and begging not to change the design others are in protests and are starting petitions.

The Youtube product manager Brian Glick said, “The purpose is really to make the channel your home on YouTube.”
