This update is a right pain in the cunt, if you have a big ass monitor you’ll get 3 columns, but if your running small res or have a small monitor you are gonna see 2 columns, they might not all line up perfectly, but fuck it, is far to much work for me, to change between resolutions to check it.

I get plenty of traffic coming to this blog, but its normally for howto’s/tutorials and what not. No one likes reading boring updates lol.

I havent really been doing vlogs but here is some of my latest youtube videos.

I’m not asking everyone to click the like button, but it does take 1 second to do. I thought to myself, if people wont take 2 minutes out of their busy life to drop a comment with their thoughts, then i wonder if they will take 1 second out of their life. So i added the like button.

This will just show me how many people can be bothered to click it, if they read a tutorial i post or just a general blog post regarding life.

Errm, this theme is the new default theme for wordpress 3.0. I think Ian Stewart from themeshaper created this theme, or was the main man of it, i didnt really do my research, and im not going to lol, (to tired been up all night). Anyway, hope you all enjpy the night georgia font =P, its all he ever uses, i could change it, but nah ill just leave it how it is. Ive still a few more things to tweak, but ill get round to them.

How the hell have you all been? You all looking forward to or (in your case if its good weather) the summer? Im gonna try and make this one to remember =P.

Oh one last thing, if you have any idea’s of what to put as the header image, then let me know, would appreciate it a lot.

Anyhow, yea, so this new theme sorta struck my eye. I’ve still to tweak it a little more, like add a logo instead of text, and update the top half with some featured post so i can show you guys and girls what i would like your feedback on most =), thats still in progress.

One last thing is, the top right of the sidebar area you will see subscribe. Its just my facebook, twitter and rss feed. For twitter feel free to follow me, and subscribe to my rss feed. Also feel free to add me on facebook, but just know i will only accept people that i know well, or have known for a long time, theres a few personal things on my facebook like family, etc.. so i will only accept a few. Nothing against anyone who i don’t accept but surely you understand. If i don’t accept you i wont be a dick and just click “don’t accept” i will send you a message saying “Sorry i don’t know you that well, maybe twitter?” =) or something along them lines =).

Its a sunny day in Belfast, and i was going to vlog about this new update, but maybe when i get the time =). Thanks for sticking around everyone, means a lot, really does.

I did all this in a day or two, the coding isnt the hard part really, its just time consuming is all, but i got there in the end. The theme you are seeing now was designed, and coded by me alone. As you can probably tell there isnt much to it, but im working on adding stuff everyday, and try to make it better and easier to get around, the more i play around with the things, the more i will learn.

Everything isnt 100% yet, and you might actually run into an error or two, but thats just me learning. Im glad im able to do this now, and im glad i learned it all by myself with no help, just like i learned how to code from PSD to html/css back in the day. Its true what they say. “If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself”.

I will be adding the search feature so its easier to look stuff up that i have done, but all in due time. (I hate coding forms). All the code is valid, if you run it its gonna say its not valid, that’s just because of the embedded videos, i dunno how to validate them, i heard there is away to validate them, but it makes it unstable to some shit, but any-whoo yea….

I hope you guys like what ive did here, spent a lot of hours on it, for something so basic. But in time, im sure ill get faster at writing up this code etc.. Let me know what you think in the comments, would mean alot.

Even me myself, watching my site load was a little shit. Even though cufon is pretty lightweight and quick, im gonna try to stay away from it as much as i can. Will save time trying to compensate for other users whos browser doesnt support it.

I just came on to let you all know about the new layout ive got on here. In my eyes its a little easier to read. The content is laid out perfectly on the single pages, and the content on the homepage is just nice and simple, to the point.

I’ve included the 2 latest posts at the top of the page so you know of any changes, and then in the footer ive got the 15 entries that have been written. Along side the recent entries is the categories, now although these don’t drop down, there is sub-categories in with them, but if your ever looking for something in particular then you can use the handy search function you will see at the top of every page.

I think thats pretty much it for now, i might add more as the day goes on, but for the people that read and comment, thanks for checking my blog and everything i put on it =), means a lot.

I still see im gettin a massive about of visits, im glad of that, but i dunno why you would leave a comment on a post, i mean it takes not even 30 seconds to drop a comment, depending on how long it is, that is. But still. I was thinking about starting fresh once again, but im not gonna, just gonna keep shit rolling and not care if people comment or not, i mean after all, in my eyes, if your not commenting then i dont really have a care for you =D.
