A Small Orange

Hey all so i went ahead and switched over to a nice little hosting company called asmallorange. I remember it way back in the day when i was first going to get into websites, blogging, designing etc.. i was supposed to sign up back then, but i never got around to it. So far its a nice clean web hosting company, they take it pretty serious and with respect, unlike so many other companies out there who are just in it for pure greed, and fuck what the customers what.

I’ve heard some bad reviews about the ‘support’ at asmallorange, but i cant say anything bad about that because i haven’t needed any support, im pretty familiar with web hosting etc.

As for the hosting itself, so far its proved to be clean and quick. Im saying this a day or two after i got set up and transferred my files from my old host to asmallorange.

I will come back and write another review in a month or so, good or bad ill post it, but ive a feeling its gonna be just fine.

Anyone heard of asmallorange or maybe you have some hosting with them yourself? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Update

So i’ve went ahead and updated my blog, which i think was a bad idea, the amount of work you’ve to do to fix up posts and what not is a fucking joke. Having to change all the videos over, all the images as post thumbnails, and because the theme wasn’t laid out to good, having to change the heights of the post thumbnails. I know i haven’t really been updating this blog with text updates, but i figured.. Who wants to read right ? Meh, i don’t know, i sometimes enjoy reading myself, and i’ve looked back on so many posts and its always good memories i guess. So from now on im gonna try and write up a text post every so often, expressing my feelings about something, or if anything interesting happened during the day, accompanied with some photos and what not i take throughout the day.

This update is a right pain in the cunt, if you have a big ass monitor you’ll get 3 columns, but if your running small res or have a small monitor you are gonna see 2 columns, they might not all line up perfectly, but fuck it, is far to much work for me, to change between resolutions to check it.

I get plenty of traffic coming to this blog, but its normally for howto’s/tutorials and what not. No one likes reading boring updates lol.

Anyway thats me out, its another boring Sunday here. Whos still around on my blog?

Hey all, so i know there is a lot of people that vist my blog and have a wee read on a post that might interest them, but they don’t comment. I’ve learned to wrap my head around the fact that people, come on, read, then leave and i get that, i totally do, but instead of commenting, im hoping that more people will even click the “like” button at the bottom of posts, to share it on their facebook. Back to basics.

I figured i spend to much time worrying about the design of my blog, when i should care more about what content i write. As its said “content is key”. Theme update!

So hey guys and girls =D. As you can see theres a new look to my blog. Im gonna start blogging a lot more throughout the summer. With videos of random shit, and a few vlogs here and there to check in with you all. Well to the people that drop comments with feedback and actually have a bit of banter. To the rest of you cunts reading and don’t take 2 seconds outta your life to comment, you can get fucked =).

Anyhow, yea, so this new theme sorta struck my eye. I’ve still to tweak it a little more, like add a logo instead of text, and update the top half with some featured post so i can show you guys and girls what i would like your feedback on most =), thats still in progress. Continue Reading
