Most companies out there stick to what they know, now this is a common thing because I’ve seen it over and over again. Companies stick to what they know because its all they know, they don’t adapt, they don’t change, they just push forward and generate money. Yeah this is good for the company, but is this good for the employees or customers?
Most higher ups in companies tend to stick to what they know because it has worked for them all these years so why should they change now?
What the big headed fucks who are higher up and don’t do half the job the person below them does need to know that, they are the ones that make you money, not the other way round. I was speaking to someone who was talking about Richard Branson and how he went about dealing with his workers. He said that if you have happy workers then you will have happy customers, which in turn generates more revenue for said company. I’ve seen time and time again, were the worker has had no help, no feedback, no encouragement to do their job, which in turn leaves the worker unhappy and couldn’t give a fuck about the company or the customers.
This leads to a real negative impact going around said business and just makes it shitty as fuck. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve seen people take real pride in their job and work to the best of their ability because for no other reason than it gets them through the day, but there is workers out there that fucking hate their job and they are only working in it to pay bills until something else comes along or its just ‘alright’. They couldn’t give a fuck about what managers say, what customers say and the only thing they look forward to is lunch, so they can get a break and fuck off from managers, big headed people, annoying people in the shop or elsewhere.
Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. Companies may stick to what they know but if they don’t look after the employees and treat them like a number then all they will get is workers leaving and new people coming in to retrain and fuck most things up for existing staff. This is all down to bad choices made by them people higher up. Lack of feedback/information/efficiency makes them look silly.
