So i was browsing about the appstore for my iPhone and i came across twitteriffic. I remembered it from when i had a macbook. Anyway.

I downloaded the free version of it on my iPhone, sure the design is nice and stuff, but the functionality is brutal. I mean, the icons, what the fuck do they mean? Some icons are self-explanatory, but others are just like “huh? wtf does this do?” so you press it and it brings up something that you “know of” about twitter, but it has no title to it lol. Fucking pointless!

Now onto the desktop, or wait sorry.. “Mac Version” of it. It looks like a bag of crap, im sure anyone that uses it, would like it to look like the iPhone app, or better in this case, i mean come on “Icon Factory” you design a clean iPhone app (ill give you that) but with shit functionality, at least do your worst at revamping the desktop version.

The “premium” version on the iPhone is 3 quid, whats the difference, wow you can thread a conversation and no ads or something. I mean come on really? Id like to think it has a sideward keyboard. Im sure loads of people have requested a sideward keyboard and nothin has been done. But sure thats normally how it goes.

I could rant all day over this dicky app, but i feel me paying for tweetie, fucking owns twitterific so bad. The design of tweetie is pretty good and the functionality is even better.

Oh and yea haha, in the reviews of the Twitterific app, its like

“Twitteriffic is the best designed app we’ve seen” – Some shitty company.

I mean what? What the fuck. So you design an app, big deal.. amazing, now actually make it work cool to. Gwah, what ever. To anyone who has used or uses twitteriffic, drop your thoughts in the comments below.
