So i know of two companies that do web design in Belfast. The first is. designbyfront.com, these guys know what they are doing and ive been watching what they have been doing over the past few years, because they’re work is clean.
On the other hand, i found this company, via looking a job designing, its designbyconet.com, see anything similar? Yea the domain names. They couldnt find or think of a domain name to suite them so they picked something thats similar to designbyfront, because they are amazing designers.
I emailed the guy like 3 times for the job spot, with no reply at all. So i thought he might have been away or out of town etc.. but no.. a few days later, they get a redesign to they’re site, so i was like wtf? I just didnt email back, there was no point, im sure he found his “amazing developer” lol.
Just thought id share that with you guys =) Let me know what you think of either site.

I understand what your saying when you say there copying but it sometimes using it all as trend if you ask me. It was like Flickr, when that popped up on the internet it had loads of sites copying it and quiet frankly got beyond a joke!
It must suck for someone to copy a nice domain name though but I would call it more inspiration than copying since no on has copyright on that ‘designby’.
Yea well inspiration i guess, but just 2 words changed, isnt that like designing something and changing 1 thing about it?

I could probably name about 5 more names with the same start but that’s not the point. I think it’s just something of a trend which we are seeing more offten now as the domain database gets smaller. It’s just a play on words. Which are becoming very popular with words such as “we” “made” “by” and “im” yes as in imanto.
I noticed this site designbyconet.com is now down this morning, could be temp problem…………
